When you dial in two origins on a single pour, the interaction between their extraction profiles creates emergent flavors neither origin produces alone.

Phase 3 Testing

Our lab ran 200 dual-origin pours across V60, Chemex, and AeroPress. The data shows that contrasting roast levels (light + dark) produce the most complex cups, while similar roast levels create smoother, more unified profiles.

The Sweet Spot

A 60/40 ratio favoring the lighter roast consistently scored highest in blind tastings. The darker roast provides body and finish while the lighter one drives aroma and acidity.

Try It Yourself

Start with any two of our single-origins. Use a standard 1:16 ratio, but split the dose 60/40. Grind each separately at their optimal setting, then combine in the filter before brewing.
