This combines the previous rules page and the two-week FAQ into one guest guide.

Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in after 15:00
  • Check-out before 11:00 so the cleaning team can start on time
  • Before leaving: switch off lights and AC, wash dishes, and take out trash
  • Leave extra cards and spare keys in the apartment keys locker
  • Close the apartment door and leave the main key in the entrance lockbox
  • Flexible timing may be possible with prior notice

House Conduct

  • No smoking inside the apartment
  • No parties, events, or loud music
  • Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 10:00: please keep voices, TV, and doors quiet
  • Maximum occupancy is 4 guests total

Pool Access and Shared Areas

  • Use the condominium pool cards from the keys locker to access the pool areas
  • Take a quick shower before entering the pool
  • Use swimwear only in the pool area
  • Beach towels are not included
  • Do not use bathroom towels at the pool because chlorine and sunscreen can damage them
  • Keep noise low during quiet hours in shared areas

Building and Practical Notes

  • 2nd floor apartment with elevator
  • Full private access to the apartment
  • Use designated outdoor waste containers and do not leave bags in hallways
  • Pets are not confirmed: ask before booking
  • Carbon monoxide alarm is not listed in the source material

Food and Restaurants

  • For the first tired evening, choose a simple cafe or supermarket meal
  • Auchan is the easiest daily grocery option
  • Mercado Municipal de Tavira is better for fresh produce
  • If you want safe menu choices: soup, grilled fish, rice, salad, omelet

Pool Etiquette

  • Take a quick shower before the pool
  • Use swimwear only
  • Use the pool access cards from the apartment keys locker if the gates require them
  • Use your own beach/pool towels and keep bathroom towels inside the apartment
  • Bring water, slippers, hat, and sunscreen

Beach Basics

  • For better comfort, go in the morning or after 16:00 in hot months
  • Check local wind before planning longer beach days
  • Carry water and sun protection even on short beach visits

Beach Flags and Safety

  • Green flag means normal bathing conditions
  • Yellow flag means extra caution: swim carefully and stay close to shore
  • Red flag means do not enter the water
  • Checkered flag means the lifeguard is not on duty or the beach is not supervised
  • Official bathing season is usually mid-June to mid-September

Safety and Comfort
